As one of the top picks in the 2006 draft, Evan Longoria spent very little time in the minor leagues, and rewarding the Tampa Bay Rays with steady offense since his rookie season. Evident factory ordering records, known labeling and player use characteristics indicate this bat was used by Longoria during the 2010 season. This 33.5 inch, 31.4 ounce Louisville Slugger I13 signature model bat shows evidence of excellent game use including a slight crack on the label. Multiple ball marks, stitch impressions are visible including blue ink transfers plus cleat marks, rack streaks and a weighted sleeve impression. Light MOTA stick residue appears on the handle with a moderate amount of pine tar near the label. Stamped on the knob is the date of manufacture (6/1/2010), length (33.5) and weight (31.5 oz). Longoria's number "3" is affixed to the knob. In addition, the bat has been authenticated by MLB Authentication Service and their hologram (LH903419) is affixed to the knob indicating the bat was used on June 26, 2010 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. This bat was directly purchased from Mr. Longoria and his hologram is affixed to the barrel. The sweet spot contains a bold, blue "Evan Longoria Game Used 2010" Sharpie signature. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B01659, graded PSA GU 9 for the bat; and a COA for the signature. One of the best Longoria gamers you will ever find, containing all his usual player characteristics. Multiple images and LOAs available at goldinauctions.com
