A scarce 1980s New England Patriots "clear shell" style helmet featuring a clear plastic shell around the entire outer portion. The hiking Patriot appears on each side, however there are no manufacturer markings, numbers or other decals inside or outside which promote the helmet. The inside does feature a suspension system and two "warning" labels dealing with the care of the helmet, and not the usual "risk of death" warnings. Although there is no size listed anywhere, the helmet appears to be small. A small amount of evident use appears on the facemask and crown. All parts appears to all original including the two ear pads and facemask. Excellent overall condition.
