Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Hall of Famer, revealed in his debut-year gum card appearance. This entry hails from the 1952 Topps issue's much scarcer "High Number" series. Further, it is the "Last Card" in the '52 Topps set, and a piece that's very elusive in the highest grades. Among more than 800 copies recorded in PSA's census reporting, just three examples, in total, have been placed at a higher, unqualified tier. This early portrayal honoring the 500 HR Club member, 12-time All-Star and two-time World Series Champion boasts four sharp corners and tremendous illustration quality. The piece's overall aesthetic is impressive in the extreme. An admirable final card specimen, in Near Mint to Mint condition.
