Offered is a near perfect 1953 New York Yankees World Series Black Bat with very solid gold and green stampings of 33 members of that World Series Championship team. These bats were produced in extremely limited quantities, and presented to team members, front office executives and other important baseball personnel. Among the 33 names on this 35-inch bat includes Mickey Mantle, Phil Rizzuto, Johnny Mize, Bill Dickey, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford and Casey Stengel. The bat grades EX-MT, but has a very light hairline crack through the barrel, only viewable under close inspection. However, these 1950s World Series bats are highly desirable, especially those featuring the New York Yankees.
