As one of the more durable and best hitting catchers over the last 20 years, former New York Yankee catcher Jorge Posada was behind the plate during four World Series titles. This ensemble was worn by Posada during his Yankee career, indicating use over many games with a tremendous amount of game use. This collection includes mask, chest protector and both shin guards, all made by NIKE. Includes: Mask – lightweight mask with taped straps. Great use. Chest Protector – well used protector with “POSADA” embroidered at the neck. Shin Guards – pair of guards with Posada’s number “20” imprinted on lower inside leg, one which is obscured by a very significant amount of pine tar. Heavy scrapes along knees. Tremendous collection of game worn “tools of ignorance” from one of MLBs best catchers over the last 20 years.
