During his lengthy 22-year Hall of Famer career, Dave Winfield only participated in two postseasons. While his well-known “Mr. May” moniker was the result of his dismal 1981 World Series performance with the New York Yankees, Winfield has a much more productive 1992 post season with Toronto. In 1992, Winfield hit two home runs in the 1992 ALCS and banged out the game-winning 11th inning, two-run double in the deciding Game 6 of that World Series. Winfield used this un-cracked 35.5 inch, 34.4 ounce Adirondack/Rawlings block letter model bat in that ALCS. It has his name “DAVE WINFIELD” stamped on the barrel with “1992 ALCS” above and “BLUE JAYS” below. The bat exhibits light to moderate game use with one prominent ball mark, and few smaller marks. The knob is stamped with the model number (DW20) and his initials (DW), with his Blue Jays number “32” written on the knob in black marker. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B02783.
