Offered is a pristine pair of 1950s "Yankee Clipper" children’s spikes, manufactured by New York-based E.J. (Endicott-Johnson) Corporation. This is a brand new pair of size “3” unworn shoes, as pristine as the day it sat on the 1950s store shelf. These black leather shoes feature two sets of three metal cleats affixed to each sole, and DiMaggio's facsimile signature on the inside of the right shoe plus original tag still attached. This very sharp tag features another image of DiMaggio with “The Yankee Clipper” on one side, and his career highlights on the reverse. Accompanying is the original retail box, which catches the eye with a colorful likeness of a sweet swinging DiMaggio on its lid. The box shows about EX quality, with moderate wear about the lid's periphery. This is a rarely seen and beautiful DiMaggio collectible, amazingly in such pristine condition.
