When R.A. Dickey was drafted by the Texas Ranger in 1996, he also had made the Team USA team which would compete in the 1994-95 Games in Atlanta, where the team won the Bronze medal. This is one of the jerseys Dickey wore during that tournament. The vest-style button down jersey has “USA” across the front with the number “10” on the left side, with the “Russell Athletic” manufacturer’s size “44” tag with attached fabric tag on the lower front tail. The reverse has his name “DICKEY” stitched in blue across the back with the number “10” below. This is the first year of this specific use of this style of “USA” emblem on the front. Great amateur jersey from one of the majors best pitchers, and winner of the 2012 National League Cy Young Award. LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert. Originally from the inventory of Upper Deck which had an agreement with TEAM USA Baseball.
