Set of three PSA/DNA authenticated signed black and white photos from the glory days of New York baseball includes a glossy 11” x 14” shot in a 17” x 20” mounted frame of Brooklyn Dodgers Centerfielder Duke Snider grabbing a handful of four bats from the rack in the Dodgers’ dugout in front of a trio of plain clothes guys on the bench. Snider signed his name in bold blue Sharpie on one of the bats with a “407 HR’S” inscription on one of the others. Dodgers Hall of Fame Shortstop Pee Wee Reese is seen speaking with “Ol Blue Eyes,” Frank Sinatra on the dugout bench in this large 16” x 20” black and white image in a 30” x 25” mounted frame. Reese signed the photo across his own image in bold blue Sharpie. Perhaps the piece-de-resistance is this 16” x 20” sepia-toned image of New York Giants players mobbing Bobby Thompson at the plate after his "shot heard round the world" for the Giants on October 3, 1951. The photo, taken from centerfield captures a dejected shortstop Pee Wee Reese staring at the ground while second baseman Jackie Robinson looks upon the scene with his hands on his hips. The photo is signed by both Thompson and Branca in bold blue Sharpie with an inscription reading: “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World Oct. the World Oct., 1951.”
