When the New York Yankees moved from their second Yankee Stadium to their third Yankee Stadium across the street, almost everything in the “old” stadium was torn apart and sold as collectibles. This is a 47.5 x 6.25 x 3.5 inch portion of the padded blue wall, signed and inscribed by the greatest closer of all time. The words read “Enter Sandman Last to Wear #42 Mariano Rivera #42 Final Season at Old Yankee Stadium 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 WS Champs Team of the Century all-time saves leader 1999 W.S. MVP 2003 ALCS MVP”. Wow! That is a lot of awards and titles for one player and career. This is a very unique Mariano Rivera signed item, an actual piece of Yankee Stadium, which would make for a great display.
