Widely regarded as the top talent entering this year’s NFL Draft, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is an athletic phenom coming out of the University of South Carolina at 6-foot-5, 260 pounds. This rare, signed collection of items by Clowney is headlined by a gray South Carolina “Battle Uniform” jersey designed by Under Armour for the Gamecocks’ 2012 game against LSU on Oct. 13. The size 52 jersey, which is trimmed in maroon and black, features Clowney’s signature in bold, black Sharpie on his number “7” on the back of the jersey. “CLOWNEY” appears across the back of the jersey in white tackle twill on a gray name plate, while the number “7” is featured in white-on-maroon tackle twill. “CAROLINA” appears across the chest of the jersey in maroon-on-black tackle twill with an “SEC” patch and Under Armour logo stitched above. Both sleeves of the jersey feature Gamecocks logo patches with Clowney’s number “7” on the shoulders, while the front tail of the jersey boasts a South Carolina manufacturer’s tag. The jersey signature comes with PSA/DNA certification number “R84602.” The football, which boasts three white panels and one traditional brown panel, features Clowney’s signature in bold, black Sharpie next to a prominent stitched Gamecocks logo. On the opposite panel, “SOUTH CAROLINA” is stitched onto the football in maroon with black bordering. The football signature comes with PSA/DNA certification number “R24484.” The miniature white helmet, made by Schutt, features Clowney’s signature again in bold, black Sharpie on the right side next to the Gamecocks logo. The helmet signature comes with PSA/DNA certification number “R84607.”
