A sharp-looking bat from one of the greatest offensive seasons in baseball history. The Tiger star won the coveted Triple Crown batting .339, slugging 44 homers and knocking in 139 runs. He received the AL MVP as a mere formality. This SAM MC1 bat shows moderate use and is uncracked. Several ball and stitch marks can be seen on the barrel. Blue ink transfers and cleat impressions are also present. A light coat of Mota Stick is on the lower handle. The bat length (34) weight (32), date (7 20 12) model (MC1) and order number (2528) are written on the barrel end in black marker. Cabrera’s number “24” and Tigers weight code “11” are written on both ends of the bat in black marker. PSA/DNA sticker number 1B07421 is affixed to the knob end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have given this bat a grade of GU 8.5.
