Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic Altered” by BGS. This second-season Metal Universe “Precious Metal Gems” collectible highlights the inimitable talents of Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant. The former Lower Merion standout is pictured in a yellow Lakers home jersey, flinging an artistic one-handed pass to an unseen teammate. Bryant made the first of his incredible 18 NBA All-Star teams in 1997-98, averaging 15.4 points per game as the sixth man for the 61-21 Lakers. Bryant increased his career scoring average to 25.0 points per game during his 20-season Lakers career, cementing his legacy with a posthumous induction to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020. The limited-edition piece is serial-numbered “099/100.” The item is encapsulated by Beckett, who have assessed the piece “Authentic Altered.”
