Muhammad Wilkerson has established himself as one of the NFL’s most feared pass rushers, posting 10.5 sacks in a breakout 2013 season. Wilkerson put the league on notice in 2012, when the Temple product registered five sacks, four pass deflections and three forced fumbles. One of those forced fumbles came in the Jets’ Nov. 18 game against the Rams in 2012, when Wilkerson wore this signed jersey. He also had a sack and three tackles in the contest. The white, fitted mesh Nike jersey features Wilkerson’s signature in black Sharpie on the back of his number “96” jersey with accompanying “Game Worn” and “11/18” inscriptions. “WILKERSON” appears across the back of the jersey in Jets green tackle twill on a white name plate with his number “96” in Jets green tackle twill. The shoulders of the jersey have Wilkerson’s “96” with Nike logos both stitched in white with a Nike manufacturer’s tag on the inside collar with affixed tags that read “2012” and “+6 LENGTH,” indicating the jersey’s year and size modifications. The jersey shows heavy signs of use, including navy blue paint marks, likely from Rams helmets, and heavy scuffing around the chest and collar. The jersey is accompanied by a photo of Wilkerson signing the item, comes with PSA certification and an LOA from noted jersey expert Dave Miedema.
