Scott Brosius was a significant cog in the machine which was the late 1990s-2000 World Series dynasty, helping the Yankees to three World Series titles, and winning the 1998 World Series MVP award. Brosius used this block-letter model bat during the 1999 seasons as indicated by the labeling period, and has his name “SCOTT BROSIUS” and team name “NEW YORK YANKEES” stamped into the barrel. This cracked 33.75 inch, 31.4 ounce Rawlings SB7 model bat contains heavy use with multiple deep balls larks and stitch impressions including white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers. A moderate amount of pine tar appears along the handle up to the label, and features the model number (SB 7), the order number (073), and the year (99) stamped into the knob. This is a magnificent game used piece of lumber, from one of the key pieces of that recent Yankees dynasty. Steiner Sports hologram, plus full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B05977.
