Since breaking into the Majors in 2003, Miguel Cabrera has proved himself to be a star. Able to play third base, first base or the outfield, Cabrera has become instrumental in leading the Marlins to a World Championship and the Tigers to a World Series appearance. More often than not hovering at the top of the offensive statistics, 2009 was no exception. This bat dates from that season in which he batted .324 with 34 home runs. This SAM MC1 bat shows excellent use and is uncracked. Several ball and stitch marks can be seen on the barrel. A light coat of Mota Stick is on the handle which has the mandatory MLB mark identifying the face grain. The bat specs are written on the barrel end in black marker. Cabrera’s number “24” and team weight code "11" is written in the cup end of the bat in black marker. PSA/DNA sticker number 1B07411 is affixed to the knob end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 8.
