A September call-up to the Reds, Votto hit a home run in his second big league at-bat. In the last 24 games of the season he hit .321 with four homers giving Reds fans a small taste of what the next five seasons would bring. The rookie year Louisville Slugger G175 shows heavy use with a handle crack that has been repaired with glue. Many ball and stick impressions can be seen throughout along with cleat imprints. The impression of a batting donut is visible as are blue ink transfers. The handle has been taped with adhesive tape to enhance the grip and a heavy coat of pine tar is present. As usual, Votto has removed the "M9" logo and his number "60" and model number "G175" is written on the knob and barrel end in black marker. PSA/DNA sticker 1B07413 is affixed to the barrel end. The game used Nike cleats show great game use and have been signed on the inside toe of the left cleat and outside of the right cleat in white ink. Votto has added "GANE USED 2007" to each one.
