Red Ruffing became a Hall of Fame pitcher after his joining the New York Yankees organization, who then became the ace of those great 1930s Yankee teams, winning 20+ games four straight seasons. He won World Series titles with Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Joe DiMaggio and if not for World War II, would have won over 300 games (he had 273 career wins). This white ONL Feeney baseball has “Red Ruffing” penned to the right of the sweet spot in black ink (“8”), but there appears to be several areas where other signature have been removed or whitened over.
