This very popular Ted Williams image has the posed Williams in full twist after a swing. Measuring 7-3/4” x 9-5/8” image has a few Red Sox players in the background, all set against the left field corner of the Fenway Park Green Monster. Light paper loss at top (can be matted out), a few wrinkles and creases, none affecting the pristine Williams image. Reverse has original caption removed with paper residue, with “Culver Pictures” and file stamp plus handwritten note reading “Ted Williams Red Sox ca 1950.” One of the most classic Williams images.
