When Roger Maris blasted his 61st HR to break Babe Ruth’s single season home run record, local fan Sal Durante made the spectacular catch, and presented Maris with the record breaking ball. This 8” x 10” image shows both men smiling and Maris holding the ball. This great photo has some back issues, with additional paper from possibly being mounted. UPI press stamp on verso.
