One of Mickey mantle’s best methods for getting out of a slump was the bunt for a hit. Not that The Mick was slumping here, but he did lay down a bunt in the fourth inning of Game 5 of the 1952 World Series. Mantle was safe, as Jackie Robinson fumbled the ball, but Dodgers won 6-5 in 11 innings. Dodger pitcher Carl Erskine, who is shown with Robinson, went all 11 innings for the hard-earned complete game victory. Excellent condition with usual light edge wear.
