Tiger would finish the second round 6-under-par overall, tied for second with the likes of his rival, Phil Mickelson – who would go on to win the tournament for the third time. Tiger would stay in the thick of it, tying for third during the third round at 8-under-par and would place fourth overall, going 11-under-par and tied K.J Choi for fourth place, an impressive return to form by the legendary golfer after 20 weeks of self-imposed exile from the world of golf.
