Graded VG+ 3.5 by SGC. Hall of Famer, in a prized debut-year portrayal. Upon first sight of this collectible, the thoughtful observer can express but one reaction: "Hey ... this is a nice card!" Here's one of the most popular Ted Williams commemoratives in the industry. Very mild corner and edge wear do not impinge upon the early, black-and-white likeness of the Red Sox star, which remains unaffected in detail and amazingly strong in visual character. The well-centered piece is penalized in grading terms – if not eye appeal – on the basis of trivial and isolated, rubber-band scarring traces on the reverse. Very Good-plus condition.
