Manny Machado is one of the bright young stars leading the resurgence for the Baltimore Orioles in the competitive A.L. East, earning an All-Star nod and Gold Glove for his performance at the hot corner in just his first full year in the league in 2013. Like many other stars, Machado got his feet wet in the minors. This signed, gray button-down Frederick Keys jersey was worn by Machado during his Single-A days in 2011. Machado signed the back of the jersey in bold, silver Sharpie on his number “3” with the accompanying inscription “GU 2011.” “FREDERICK” appears across the chest of the jersey, with Machado’s number “3” appearing on both sides, all in black-on-orange tackle twill. The jersey features a Frederick logo patch stitched on the left sleeve and a “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag on the front tail. The inside collar of the jersey has a “Rawlings” tag, size 44. The jersey shows light evidence of game use, including some spot staining on the back, and comes with a signed COA by Frederick general manager Dave Ziedelis. The signed jersey also is certified by PSA.
