In 2008, the year this bat dates from, Braun garnered the most All-Star votes for an outfielder, making him the game's starter that summer and finished his second MLB season in the top 10 in average, homers, RBI, slugging, extra base hits and triples! The Original Maple Bat Company KB1 shows excellent use by the Brewers young star and is unbroken. Ball and stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel along with blue ink transfers. The handle has an 8" criss-cross tape pattern for grip enhancement and has a moderate coat of Mota Stick. Braun's number "8" is written on the knob end in silver and the weight and length has been written not the barrel end in black ink. Braun has signed the barrel adding "GAME USED" in silver ink.
