Seemingly coming out of nowhere, Yasiel Puig breathed life into a moribund Dodger team from the moment he put on number 66 and took the field. Batting .319 and just missing the NL's Rookie of the Year Award, the "Wild Horse" streaked across the league like no other Dodger rookie has before. The Cuban rookie phenom used this Old Hickory YP66 bat during the September 7, 2013 game against Cincinnati. In the second inning, Puig hit a two-run homer to give the Dodgers and early lead. Facing Mat Latos in the top of the 7th, Puig ground out, cracking the handle of this Old Hickory bat. Crack has been repaired with a spiral wrap of black friction tape and the lower handle has a light coating of pine tar. The knob end has the Dodgers' "D" sticker and Puig's number "66" affixed. MLB hologram sticker EK 803869 is affixed to the barrel. Certificate of Authenticity from MLB.
