Inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1981, Johnny Mize proved to be one the sport’s most feared hitters during his career, which spanned from 1936 to 1953. “The Big Cat” hit 359 home runs and sported a .312 career batting average. Upon Mize joining the Yankees in 1949, the Bronx Bombers went on to win five consecutive World Series titles. This signed, white Rawlings OAL Brown baseball features Mize’s signature (signed “John Robert Mize”) in vivid blue ink on the sweet spot with inscription “H.O.F. 1981” on the above panel. The signed baseball comes with basic certification from James Spence Authentication, number “J87349.”
