Presented is a 598-card complete set of 1966 Topps baseball cards. In total, 19 cards have been graded by PSA. Prior to 1974, Topps grappled annually with the difficulty of harmonizing the production of its separate series to accommodate demand in sales. While several series in Topps baseball through the 1960s are tough to come by, a strong argument can be advanced that the decade's most difficult came with the final series of 1966. These rascals yield to collectors only grudgingly, and easily rival the high numbers of 1961 and 1962 in terms of challenge. Modern collectors of regular issues are denied the appreciation of such a set's pursuit, but should hold in high regard the tenacity it took to compile the offered, complete-set array. Highlights and graded cards include: #'s 1 Mays (PSA NM 7), 30 Rose (PSA NM 7), 36 Hunter, 50 Mantle (PSA NM 7), 70 Yastrzemski (PSA NM 7), 72 Perez, 100 Koufax (PSA NM 7), 110 Banks (PSA NM 7), 125 Brock, 126 Palmer, 160 Ford (PSA NM+ 7.5), 195 Morgan, 200 Mathews (PSA MINT 9), 215 Clemente/Aaron/Mays, 254 Jenkins, 288 Sutton, 300 Clemente, 310 F. Robinson (PSA EX-MT 6), 320 Gibson (PSA EX-MT 6), 365 Maris (PSA NM 7), 390 B.
