The great Carl Yastrzemski played 23 seasons for the Boston Red Sox, his final in 1983 when he wore the gray road jersey. This Hall of Famer won the 1967 A.L. Triple Crown award, the last until Miguel Cabrera accomplished the feat in 2012. This button-down jersey has “BOSTON” across the chest with a simple “Wilson 42” manufacturer’s size tag with gray swatch below with a black chain-stitched “83” for the year. The reverse has the retired number “8” with a bold, blue sharpie “Carl Yastrzemski” below. Light evidence of game use. Despite being 43 years old, Yaz still pounded out over 100 hits and double digit home runs in his final season. LOA from PSA/DNA for the signature. Full LOA from MEARS with a perfect A-10 grade.
