Mike Bossy was a virtual scoring machine for the New York Islanders during the late 1970s - 1980s, scoring 50+ goals in all but the last season of his career, where he “only” had 38 in a shortened season He helped lead the Isles to four consecutive Stanley Cup Championships during his tenure and was voted into the Hall of Fame. In November 1986, during his final season, Bossy was named NHL Player of the Month, and received this outstanding personalized golf bag. The 14” x 18” x 36” white golf bag has “MIKE BOSSY CHRYSLER DODGE NHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH NOVEMBER 1986” embroidered on the large zippered front pocket. Along the edge of the base is a small gold plaque, which remains blank. Bag appears to have minimal usage, but does contain a “Ginn Open” tag from Cypress Gardens for the week of April 14-20, 2008. Beautiful overall condition and a tremendous presentation piece for one of hockey’s best scorers.
