Rookie Card. Hall of Famer. Cal Ripken stars on this brilliant 1982 Topps rookie card, featuring him alongside Bob Bonner and Jeff Schneider. The lot contains a total of four identical Cal Ripken rookie cards, which are from the “Future Stars” series. Ripken re-defined the shortstop position, during his incredible 23-year Hall-of-Fame career. He earned 19 All-Star appearances, two AL MVPs, two Gold Glove Awards, and eight Silver Slugger Awards. He also won two World Series titles. Ripken set the record for most consecutive MLB games played with 2,632 total games and eventually had his number retired by the Baltimore Orioles.
