Graded VG-EX 4 by SGC. Hall of Famer, in his Rookie Card appearance. Willie Mays' 1951 Bowman "High Number"-series debut gum card is among the most coveted pieces in the hobby, and the example presented here is a pleasing representative of its type. This Mays card is distinguished by well-focused color and nicely proportioned borders. Honest, relatively mild wear is apparent at the corners and its back carries presentation that's free of wrapper-wax tracing. Wholly satisfying Very Good to Excellent condition.
