Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Following his playing career that ended after the 1992 season, Randolph joined the coaching ranks and re-joined the Yankees in 1994. Randolph coached with the Yankees until he was appointed New York Mets manager for the 2005 season.

Offered here are 11 signed player model bats that come directly from the collection of Willie Randolph. Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero signed his name in silver marker and inscribed “27” on a Louisville Slugger C243 model bat. Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson signed his name in silver marker and inscribed “44”, “HOF 93” and “Mr October” on a black Rawlings/Adirondack bat. Hall of Famer Andre Dawson signed his name in black marker on the barrel of a Worth W226 model bat. Hall of Famer Joe Torre signed his name in black marker on the barrel of an Adirondack 129A model bat. The next bat was signed by Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson in blue marker on the barrel of a Cooper Pro 100 model.

The next bat was signed by Alex Rodriguez, who signed his name in silver marker on a Louissville Slugger C271L model bat and inscribed “M.V.P. 03-06-07”. Rafael Palmeiro in black marker on the barrel of a Mizuno N113 model bat and inscribed “25”. The next bat was signed by David Wright in blue marker on the barrel of a Rawlings Big Stick bat and inscribed “5”. Miguel Cairo signed his name in silver marker on the barrle of a Rawlings 1491S bat and inscribed “3”. The next bat was signed by Kirk Gibson in silver marker on the barrel of a Rawlings/Adirondack 502B model bat. The final bat was signed by Kaz Matsui in blue marker on the barrel of a Rawlings Big Stick bat and inscribed “25”. These bats derive from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany these bats. This lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
