The second match pitting Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston against each other was supposed to be a brawling slugfest between two heavyweights. With the location of the fight moved to the remote outpost of Lewiston, Maine, in front of under 3,000 fans, Ali floored the former champ in the first round with his iconic “phantom punch”. This was the match that propelled the newly-named Ali into global superstardom and is a defining moment in Ali’s legacy. Offered here are two tickets to Ali-Liston II, a gold variation and a pink variation. Each have been graded a MINT 9 and encapsulated by PSA/DNA (Gold: 23294371, Pink: 23294373).
