These two vintage New York Yankee logo baseballs date to 1976 and 1977, both seasons the Yankees won the American League pennant.  In 1976 the Yankees Chris Chambliss’ heroic game 5 Walk off Home Run sent the Yankees to the World Series and the Royals and in 1977 the Yankees were successful in winning their first World Series since 1962.  Both of these baseballs come from the collection of Willie Randolph who played an instrumental role on the team both years.

The first baseball dates to 1976 consists of 17 signatures including Thurman Munson, Yogi Berra, Elston Howard, Roy White, and ALCS Hero Chris Chambliss.  The signatures of Billy Martin, Sparky Lyle, and Lou Piniella have been deemed clubhouse.  The second baseball dates to the World Series Championship season of 1977 and consist of 19 signatures including Hall of Famers Bobby Cox along with Graig Nettles, Chris Chambliss, and Willie Randolph.  The signatures of Thurman Munson, Reggie Jackson, Jim Hunter and Billy Martin have been deemed clubhouse.  The baseballs do display toning and some signatures are fading while others remain more predominant.  The signatures have been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
