The Yankees Dynasty during the late 1990s’ was baseballs last true dynasty.  A few teams have had multiple titles since, but none with the consistency nor as many times as the Yankees have since 1996.  This lot features two New York Yankees team signed baseballs.  The first is a 1998 Official World Series baseball with 27 signatures including keys Joe Torre, Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Paul O’Neill, Jorge Posada, Tino Martinez, Bernie Williams and Andy Pettitte.  The World Champion Yankees of 1998 won a franchise record total of 114 games in the regular season and finished the year with a record of 125-50 including the postseason.  The second baseball in the lot is an Official Allan H. Selig baseball with 31 signatures including keys Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Joe Torre, Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Bernie Williams, Mike Mussina, and Jorge Posada.  Both baseballs have minimal toning and the Official Major League Baseball logo shows wear.  The baseballs come from the collection of then Yankees coach Willie Randolph who will provide a signed LOA and this lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
