Offered is a lot of two game-used and signed items from Major League Baseball pitcher Jon Lester, worn during the 2014-2015 baseball seasons. The first item in this lot a Nike baseball glove used by Lester in the 2014 season. He has signed his name in silver marker on top of the left thumb below a red Nike swoosh, and inscribed “GU 14” above his signature in silver marker. The black leather glove has red stitches on the pocket, a red Nike swoosh logo sewn in the middle finger. Embroidered in red on the outside thumb of the lefthander’s glove is “Jon Lester 31”, with “HRLWWL” embroidered in red on the “pinky” side. In the 2014 season, Lester had a 16-11 record with a 2.46 ERA with the Oakland Athletics, and finished fourth in the AL Cy Young voting. This glove comes with a COA from Beckett (D70965), and a LOA from Lester. The signature on the letter comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (D83722).

                The second item in this lot is a pair of game-used Nike MVP Elite baseball cleats worn by Lester in the 2015 season. The blue, gray and white “camouflage” style cleats feature red accents, each with nine metal cleats in the blue, gray and red plastic soles.  Lester has signed his name on the outside heel of each shoe in silver marker and inscribed “GU 15” in silver marker to the left of his signature.  In the 2015 season, Lester went 11-12 for the Chicago Cubs.  These cleats come with a COA sticker only from Becket Authentication (D70974 on the left cleat, D70975 on the right cleat) and a LOA from Lester. The signature on the LOA comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (D83723).
