Offered in this lot are two game used Tampa Bay Rays jersey used by Evan Longoria in his last season with the club and both against the New York Yankees. The first jersey is a size 42 white Majestic Flex Base button-down jersey that was worn during the April 4^th game against the Yankees at home. Longoria was 1-for-2 with two walks. This jersey has “RAYS” sewn on the front in navy, white and powder blue tackle twill. Navy piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Rays manatee logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve and the Majestic size 42 tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail. There is an additional Majestic bar cod tag screen-printed vertically on the center front tail that reads “SET 2017 42”. The back of the jersey has “LONGORIA” sewn on in navy tackle twill on a matching white nameplate and his number “3” sewn on in navy and white tackle twill. This jersey displays moderate use with dirt stains on the front and Longoria has signed his name in silver marker on the “3” inscribing “Game Used APR. 4, 2017 NY YANKEES vs TB RAYS”. The second jersey was worn by Longoria during the April 12^th game at Yankee Stadium. Longoria went 0-for-3, but walked and scored two runs.
