Offered is a lot of two Alex Rodriguez game used and signed items, from the September 20, 2013 game in which he broke Baseball Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig’s record for most career Grand Slam home runs. He reached this unique milestone in baseball history in a 5-1 Yankees win over the San Francisco Giants at the new Yankee Stadium, hitting his seventh homer of the 2013 season in the seventh inning off George Kontos to right center, with two outs and the game tied 1-1. A-Rod finished his 22-year career with 25 Grand Slams, followed by Gehrig with 23 and Manny Ramirez with 21.  Rodriguez retired with 696 career home runs, fourth all-time behind Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755) and Babe Ruth (714).

The Yankee slugger has signed and inscribed his name and “Grand Slam #24 9/20/13” in silver marker on a navy-blue Benik elbow pad. This elbow pad comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (EK800923) which dates this item to the September 20, 2013 game. Rodriguez has signed and inscribed his name and “#13 Game Used 9/20/13 GS #24” in sliver marker on a navy-blue and gray Majestic baseball undershirt.  This undershirt comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (EK80094) which dates this shirt to the September 20, 2013 game. This lot comes with a signed LOA from Alex Rodriguez.
