Presented here is a collection of game used equipment from New York Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran’s 2008 season. Beltran his .284 in 2008, with 27 homers, 112 RBI, and 40 doubles. The first item in this lot is a black, blue, and orange shin guard worn by Beltran during the Mets final game of the 2008 season and Shea Stadium’s farewell, a 4-2 loss to the Florida Marlins on September 28th. Beltran homered in this game. He has signed this shin guard in silver marker. It is accompanied by a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 916945) and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.

The second item in this lot is a pair of flip-action sunglasses worn by Beltran. “C.B” and “15” are written on the case in silver marker, while a pair of “15”’s is written on the glasses themselves in silver. These glasses come with a COA from Amazin’ Mets Memorabilia.
