Offered is a lot of two Derek Jeter signed photographs of two of his most famous plays, in framed displays. The first item in this lot is a 17 x 20-inch color photograph of Jeter when he made one of the most memorable catches of his career on July 1, 2004, diving into the third-base stands at Yankee Stadium to catch a Trot Nixon pop-up in the 12th inning of a game against the division rival Boston Red Sox. Jeter has signed his name across the third base wall in silver marker.  The photo is set in a white paper matte with a navy-blue border, within a 22 ½ x 26½-inch brown and black wood frame.  A silver metal plaque at the bottom of the matte has the inscription, in black: “The Dive” July 1st, 2004 vs. Boston Red Sox Bloodied and Bruised, Derek Jeter showed why the New York Yankees always prevail. The All-Star shortstop made a diving catch into the stands at top speed to end the 12th inning.”  This item comes with a Steiner hologram sticker and an MLB Authentication hologram (MT00497751).

The second item in this lot is a 16x20-inch color photograph of Jeter when he made another of his most memorable plays, the famous Jeter “flip” play at the plate from Oct. 13, 2001 in the seventh inning of the third game of the American League Division Series between the Yankees and Athletics.  The A’s Terrence Long smacked a Mike Mussina pitch down the right-field line, where it was fielded by Shane Spencer, who wildly overthrew both cutoff men. Jeter appeared near the first-base foul line and shoveled the ball to catcher Jorge Posada. The A's Jeremy Giambi didn’t slide and was tagged out to preserve a 1-0 Yankees lead.  Jeter has signed his name in black marker over his figure at the left-hand side of the photo, which is mounted in a white paper matte with navy border within a 22 ¾ x 26¾ -inch brown wood frame.  A silver metal plaque at the bottom of the matte has the inscription, in black: “Derek Jeter Game 3 ALDS “Flip to Posada””.
