Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Robert Parish and Larry Bird were the cornerstones of the Boston Celtics teams that dominated the NBA in the 1980s. Together, Parish and Bird won three NBA titles in 1981, 1984, and 1986 while playing for the Celtics who were frequent contenders for the NBA title for the better part of a decade. Presented in this lot are a Celtics warm-up jacket signed by Bird and a Celtics jersey signed by Parish.

The first item in this presented lot is a six-button Boston Celtics warm-up jersey signed by Larry Bird. Bird, known for his competitive spirit and intensity on the court, was the 1980 NBA Rookie of the Year, was a 12-time All-Star selection, a two-time Finals MVP, and three-time NBA MVP. Bird spent all of his 13 seasons with the Celtics and led the team to three NBA titles in five Finals appearances. The six-button green warm-up jacket with white and green stripes on the sleeves and collar features “CELTICS” screen-printed across the chest of the jersey in gold and white. White and yellow four-leaf clovers adorn each sleeve. A Mitchell & Ness manufacturing tag with a size “46” flag appears on the inside collar of the jacket. A NBA Official Licensed Product retail tag is attached to the collar. “BIRD” appears across the back of the jersey in green tackle twill on a white nameplate. Bird signed the chest of the jacket with a silver metallic paint pen. The warm-up jacket is bright green and in pristine condition and the signature is bold. The signed Celtics warm-up jacket comes with a COA from Steiner Sports.

The second item is a Boston Celtics jersey signed by one of the greatest centers of all time, Robert Parish. Parish, known for his strong defensive play and rebounding prowess, earned nine All-Star selections and four NBA titles during his 21-year career. The presented item is a green mesh pullover jersey with white and green stripes on the collar and sleeves features “CELTICS” across the chest in white tackle twill. An embroidered red, white, and blue NBA logo is affixed to the jersey’s left shoulder. A black with white labeling “NIKE-FIT” tag is attached to the jersey’s left front tail, just above a Nike Team Sport size “48” manufacturing tag with accompanying “NBA AUTHENTICS” flag. The number “00” appears across the chest and back of the jersey in white tackle twill. “PARISH” appears across the back of the jersey in white tackle twill. Parish signed the “0” on the back of the jersey with a black marker. The signature features no bleeding and the jersey is in excellent condition. The signed Boston Celtics jersey comes with a COA from Steiner Sports.
