A few teams have had multiple titles since, but none with the consistency nor as many times as the Yankees have since 1996.  The 2000 New York Yankees won their third straight World Series and it was the fourth World Series Victory for the club in five years.  In the World Series they faced the cross-town rival New York Mets and won the series in five games in the first Yankees-Mets Subway World Series. This lot consists of three baseballs including one 1996 and two 2000 New York Yankees and team signed baseballs, the first of which is on an Official 2000 World Series Baseball and contains 24 signatures including Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, David Cone, Jose Canseco, Tino Martinez, Joe Torre, Paul O’Neill, Doc Gooden, Bernie Williams, Andy Pettitte, and Jorge Posada. The ball is in overall good condition with some toning spots and relatively bold signatures.

The second baseball in the lot is a silver logo 2000 Bud Selig Baseball signed by 32 including several non-Yankee All Stars and greats including Cal Ripken Jr., Alex Rodriguez, and Wade Boggs along with Joe Torre, Roger Clemens, Bernie Williams, and Jorge Posada.  The ball comes with an MLB Hologram that is unsearchable in the database, however. The third baseball in this lot is a 1996 New York Yankees Official Gene A. Budig American League Baseball in overall excellent condition with bold signatures and very minimal toning.  The ball has 30 signatures including Derek Jeter, Joe Torre, Wage Boggs, Mariano Rivera, Tim Raines, Doc Gooden, Tino Martinez, David Cone, Andy Pettitte, Paul O’Neill, and Bernie Williams.  These three baseballs come from the collection of Willie Randolph who has provided a signed LOA and this lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
