Offered in this lot are game used bats from former players Mark Grace, Dave Kingman and Bill Madlock. The first bat was used by Grace during the 1991 season. This Rawlings 256S model bat displays excellent game use with a crack on the Rawlings logo. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions and black ink transfers present on the barrel. The model number “256S”, order number “267” and year “91” are stamped on the knob. “Grace” and the bat’s weight “31 1/2” are handwritten in blue ink on the knob. Grace has signed his name in black marker on the barrel and inscribed “17”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15183) for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication (G15991) for the signature.

The second bat in this lot was used by Dave Kingman in 1975 and has been attributed to home runs he het on September 10th, 1975 and September 11th, 1975. This Adirondack 220A model bat displays outstanding game use with a crack on the handle that has been secured. Kingman’s number “26” has been handwritten in faded black marker on the knob and Kingman has signed his name in blue marker on the barrel and inscribed “#26”, “King Kong” and “9-10-75 2 HR” and “9-11-75 1 HR”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15446) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9, plus a STICKER ONLY From PSA/DNA (8A1322) for the signature and inscriptions.

The final bat in this lot was used by Bill Madlock during the 1983-86 seasons. Madlock’s Louisville Slugger K48 model bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There is checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the barrel, along with ball marks, stitch impressions, white leather scuff marks and black ink transfers. The handle was scored to enhance the grip and Madlock’s number “5” has been handwritten in silver marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12802) for the game use.
