The final baseball in this lot was used during the Mets 6-5 loss to the Miami Marlins on September 15th, 2014 at Citi Field. This was the penultimate start of deGrom’s rookie season, and the rookie hurler turned in a typically strong start. deGrom pitched seven strong innings, striking out 13 Marlins and allowing only three earned runs as he was saddled with the no-decision. This ball was pitched in the top of the fourth inning, with deGrom punching out Marcell Ozuna using this Official Major League Allan H.
