Offered in this lot are three game issued or used bats from former players Ray Boone, Ted Simmons and Tim McCarver. The first bat was issued to Ray Boone circa 1953-1958. This bat is a Hillerich & Bradsby O16 model that does not display any game use. The model number “O16” is stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15717).

The next bat is a game use bat from Ted Simmons. Simmons used this Adirondack 256B model bat during the 1971-79 seasons. This bat displays excellent game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks and cleat imprints present on the barrel. Simmons’ number “23” is handwritten in back marker on the knob. Simmons has signed his name in black marker on the barrel and inscribed “2472 hits”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17155) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5, plus a COA from Beckett Authentication (G15988) for his signature.

The final bat in this lot was used by Tim McCarver during the 1969-72 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby MC53 model bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. McCarver has signed this bat on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA form PSA/DNA for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication (G15989) for the signature.
