Offered in this lot are six signed agreements between legendary MLB players and the Topps trading card company. The first contract in this lot has been signed by the Hall of Fame closer Lee Smith in black pen. The contract is dated to February 25th, 1989, just prior to Smith’s second season with the Boston Red Sox. The second contract in this lot has been signed by the Hall of Fame ace Jack Morris and dated to June of 1988, the middle of Morris’ 12th season with the Detroit Tigers. Morris has signed this contract in black marker. The third contract is from July of 1968, and it has been signed by Alonza “Al” Bumbry in red pen. This contract also comes with a check, for the value of $5, that has been signed in red pen by Bumbry.

The fourth contract in this lot has been signed by Rico Carty and is dated to March of 1977, Carty’s final year with the Cleveland Indians. Carty has signed this contract in black pen. The penultimate contract in this lot has been signed by Gary Sheffield in blue pen and dated to February of 1996. Sheffield had one of the best years of his career in 1996, hitting 42 homers with 120 RBI and a .314 batting average. Sheffield has signed this contract in blue pen. The final contract in this lot has been signed by Jeff Kent in blue pen. It is dated to April of 1995, the beginning of Kent’s final full season with the New York Mets. Each signed contract comes with an individual COA from JSA.
