Offered in this lot are six game used bats. The first bat was used by Al Weis during the 1961-63 seasons. This is a Hillerich & Bradsby C12 model bat that displays outstanding use with a crack on the handle that goes into the barrel. The upper handle has been taped in a spiral patter to secure the crack. There are ball marks and water stains on the barrel and Weis has signed his name in black marker on the barrel and inscribed “Best Wishes” and “#6”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15380) for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication (G15993) for the signature.

The second bat was used by Pete Runnels circa 1951. This Hillerich & Bradsby R43 model bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and other abrasions present on the barrel. The bat’s model number “R43” is stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17147) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.

The third bat was used by Billy Goodman during the 1958 season. This Hillerich & Bradsby O1S model bat displays heavy game use with a crack on the handle and a 14 ½ x 1-inch piece missing. There are several ball marks and cleat marks present on the barrel, along with bat rack streaks. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15186) for the game use.

The fourth bat in this lot was used by Zolio Vesalles during the 1965-68 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby V280X model bat displays moderate game use with a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat imprints present on the barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the handle and the model number “V280X” is stamped on the knob. The number “4” is handwritten in black marker on the knob, whose number also belonged to Bob Allison and Tom Hutton. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12816) for the game use.

The fifth bat in this lot was used by Jo-Jo Moore circa 1940. This Hillerich & Bradsby Pre-Model bat displays excellent game use and has repaired handle crack. There is checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the barrel, along with green bat rack streaks. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15435) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8, plus a STICKER ONLY from MEARS (306549.

The final bat in this lot was used by Mike Shannon during the 1969-70 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby M110 model bat displays light to moderate use and a crack on the handle. There are holes on left and right barrel that have been filled in and the bat’s model number “M110” has been stamped on the knob. Shannon signed this bat in black marker on the barrel and inscribed “#18 W.S. 64-67”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (X78521) for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication (G15994) for the signature.
