Former New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera became the first player ever inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame via a unanimous ballot in 2019. Rivera finished his storied career with a Major League record 652 saves. On July 5th, 2007, Rivera notched his 425th career save when he closed the door on Minnesota Twins in the Yankees’ 7-6 victory. Rivera pitched the ninth inning, allowing two hits and an earned run, while striking out two batters to preserve the victory. This offered “New York Yankees” lineup card features the pre-printed starting nine for both teams, along with the “AVAILABLE POSITION PLAYERS” and “AVAILABLE PITCHERS”. The 8 ½ x 14-inch lineup card has “JULY 5, 2007” printed on the top and the Yankees’ and Twins’ logos above the lineups. Rivera has signed his name in blue marker on the bottom of the card and inscribed “Save # 425”. A wonderful memento from the greatest closer of all time. This item comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (BB572987) and a LOA from Steiner Sports.
