Mariano Rivera was recently elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame as its first ever unanimous inductee. 425 members of the BBWAA voted for the 13-time All-Star and five-time World Series champion, with not a single voter leaving Rivera off the ballot. Offered in this lot are two game model Nike cleats signed by the Panama native. Rivera has signed each lace guard in silver marker, inscribing “42 Postseason Saves / 5x W.S Champs” on the left shoe and “652 Saves / All time saves leader” on the right shoe. “PHIL 4:13” is embroidered in white on the outside heel of each size 11 cleat. Each cleat comes with a COA from Steiner Sports.
